What is Radiesse?
As we age, our skin’s structural support gradually weakens, resulting in a loss of elasticity, definition, and volume. Radiesse is a regenerative, biocompatible injectable treatment containing calcium hydroxylapatite that stimulates and increases collagen and elastin production. The treatment improves the quality of facial skin by increasing density and elasticity, ultimately giving it a smoother and more youthful appearance.
Radiesse is frequently used for facial rejuvenation, but it also provides excellent results when applied to the hands, neck and décolleté.

Photography
The photos are kept in your medical file and allow us to evaluate the results and progress of your treatments together.
Discussion of your concerns
Your injector will ask probing questions so we can best understand your expectations and make suggestions to best meet your needs. The discussion will also help us understand which areas you wish to be treated.
Treatment
After cleansing your skin, Radiesse will be injected either with a fine syringe or cannula, depending on the area being treated. Following injection, we will massage the treated area to ensure an even distribution of the product for a natural result.

When can I expect to see results?
Some improvement becomes visible immediately after the treatment. However, real results appear about 6 weeks after treatment and the full effect will only be visible about 3 months after treatment.
How long does the effect of Radiesse last?
The duration of the treatment effect with Radiesse varies for everyone. However, studies show that in the majority of patients, results last 12 months or more.
Are there any side effects?
As with any injectable treatment, some side effects are possible. Swelling, bruising and tenderness at injection sites may occur. Generally, these side effects are short-lived and disappear within days of treatment. During your consultation, we take the time to review possible side effects and post-treatment advice with you.
Are the injections painful?
Lidocaine, a mild anesthetic and an integrated component of Radiesse, numbs the injected area as the treatment progresses. Mild discomfort may occur during treatment, but Radiesse injections are usually not painful.
