Dr Hould

Dr Mélanie Hould, Medical Director

Dr. Melanie Hould graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Montreal in 2008. She completed her residency in family medicine and since 2011, has worked as a hospitalist at the Hawkesbury General Hospital.

From the outset of her work as a family physician, Dr. Hould has been interested in treating venous disease. She trained in phlebology in Quebec, Ontario and the United States, and since 2014, her practice has focused on non-surgical approaches to chronic venous disease, including visual and ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy. Dr. Hould was recently recognized as a Fellow of the Canadian Phlebology Society, and designated as a trainer by the College of Physicians of Quebec for doctors entering the field of phlebology.

In addition to her work as a phlebologist, Dr Hould has also developed an expertise in aesthetic medicine. She has extensive experience in aesthetic facial injections using dermal fillers and neuromodulators.

Dr Hould is entirely dedicated to her medical injection practice, and is known for her professional, patient-first approach. She regularly seeks new opportunities to broaden and share her knowledge and abilities in phlebology and medical aesthetics.

Dr Mélanie Hould is a member in good standing of the Collège des médecins du Québec, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, the College of Family Physicians of Canada, the Ontario Medical Association, the Canadian Phlebology Society, and the Canadian Association of Aesthetic Medicine.

Dr Jitin Sekhri, Sports and Exercise Medicine, Minor Surgeries

Born and raised in Belgium, Dr. Sekhri completed an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences at Napier University of Edinburgh, Scotland in 2000, followed by a Masters of Sciences degree in Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Glasgow in 2002. He began his medical studies at the University of East Anglia in the United Kingdom, completing his residency training at Cambridge University Hospitals in 2011. He completed a Fellowship in Acute Medicine and Musculoskeletal Medicine through the University of Ottawa in Canada in 2015, and is currently completing certification with the Canadian Academy of Sports and Exercise Medicine.

Dr. Sekhri has advanced training in ultrasound-guided injection techniques to complement his practice in Sports and Exercise Medicine, and currently teaches ultrasound skills to other health-care professionals at the national level for accreditation by the Canadian Point of Care Ultrasound Society.

In addition to his work as a family and sports medicine physician, a hospitalist at Hawkesbury General Hospital and an ultrasound instructor, Dr. Sekhri is also formally trained to perform minor surgical procedures including skin biopsies, cyst and lipoma removal and minor skin lesion excisions.

Dr. Jitin Sekhri is a member in good standing of the College of Family Physicians of Canada, the Quebec College of Physicians, the Ontario Medical Association, the Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians, the Canadian Association of Sports and Exercise Medicine, and l’Association québécoise des médecins du sport et de l’exercise.

With a College Diploma (DEC) in Nursing Practice from John Abbott College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) from Laurentian University, and a Master of Nursing Science (MSc) from the University of Ottawa, Marilyn has nearly 20 years of experience as a nurse clinician. As a certified Naturopath and having pursued doctoral studies at the University of Montreal in the field of disease prevention, she maintains a global, holistic vision of health and beauty.

With nearly 15 years of experience as a Medical Aesthetician and Technician, Catherine is passionate and extremely knowledgeable about skincare. With her warm, empathetic approach and light touch, she dispenses expert advice and delivers highly effective treatments to help our patients realize their skincare goals.

With us for five years, Andrea ensures the smooth daily operation of the clinic and the warm welcome of every patient. As our resident multi-tasker, in addition to patient scheduling and treatment follow-up, Andrea also assists our physicians during vein care procedures and minor surgeries.
